Specific areas of surgical expertise include gastrointestinal surgery and respiratory surgery (e.g., throat and sinuses). Research on the physiology of the gastrointestinal tract, with particular reference to the effects of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (i.e. aspirin-like drugs).
