Advanced Protocol: Outclass the Competition
The General H. Hugh Shelton Center hosts an Advanced Protocol: Outclass the Competition seminar that encompasses workshops led by Kay Leonard, Chief of Protocol, Joint Special Operations University (JSOU). This is the same training received by General Officers in all branches of the military. The full-day etiquette training includes a full-course meal providing opportunities to experience formal dining etiquette and concludes with a gala tea attended by faculty, donors, and area employers.
Through these workshops, attendants develop confidence and poise, with familiarity in handling unknown or unusual circumstances in professional and social environments, including meals and receptions.
