AERES

AERES (Architectural, Engineering and Real Estate System) provides real time access to facility building and room space information for NC State University. Access is restricted to university personnel and may be requested by submitting an access request form.

Managing Projects with AERES: A Hands-On Guide and an online tutorial are available to learn how to use AERES.

The AERES system provides a 24/7 web based library system, where users can run standard reports, easily search for data, choose individual fields by category to build custom queries, export results to Excel, print and multi-sort.

The system also houses scanned or electronic documents, creating an online plan room, in which we store our architectural and engineering drawings. Users can search, find and view as-builts, program documents sorted by individual project phases.

General categories of information include: buildings, rooms, projects, real estate, various hazardous materials data, and GIS information. The GIS section provides an easy method to import and overlay shape and data files, allows the user to toggle mapping elements on and off and assign color values.
