History

The Crafts Center is located on the lower level of the Thompson Building, corner of Jensen Drive and Dunn Avenue across from the coliseum parking deck.

The center is funded entirely by NC State students and community participation. The programs and facilities are open to everyone with the following qualifications: For wood shop classes and studio use, participants must be 18 and have health insurance; for all other classes and studio use, participants must be 14. Public areas of the building are wheelchair accessible. The Crafts Center is a teaching facility. Studios and the gallery are sometimes closed for classes, special events or university holidays.
