History

Creative Services Building formerly housed the original TV station for the University, then North Carolina State College, and for many years was part of the University of North Carolina Television Network. Returned to NC State when UNC-TV consolidated their operations in Research Triangle Park, the Fifties-era building now houses the staff of Creative Services, a multimedia production team that is a part of University Advancement. The cable head-end for Time Warner channel 18, operated by Cooperating Raleigh Colleges is also located here and the TV studio is used for television classes taught by the Department of Communication, CHASS.
