History

Places within Research III, where interactions among people on the Centennial Campus take place, are emphasized by their locations. A bookstore that is completely visible to people in the courtyard through its glass wall has been placed at the corner of the building between study areas and the National Weather Service so that students and corporate members can meet. The bookstore and a dining area contribute to visual animated space from the courtyard that adds vitality to the campus; one of the goals of campus planning. Another unusual feature of the building is its arcade roof.
