Contribute to the next commemorative calendar!NC State is being transformed by more than three-quarters of a billion dollars in renovation, construction and beautification projects, including new housing, classrooms, labs and courtyards. To document the transformation, we’re inviting you to submit your photos of the campus. The 12 best photos will be used for a commemorative calendar that will be available in the Technician and Bulletin next year. Who May EnterAny amateur or professional photographers over the age of 18 may enter photographs. Photographers under the age of 18 may enter as long as their parents or legal guardians sign and mail in the Photo Release Form. What to EnterYou may submit any photograph that you have taken on and around the NC State University Campus. We are looking for photos of all seasons that include people engaged in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities on campus. We are especially interested in interior and exterior photographs of new and recently renovated buildings as well as improved outdoor spaces such as courtyards, paths, and seating. High resolution unedited digital files (with minimum size 1400 x 1050) or 8 x 10 prints are acceptable. How To EnterPlease read the entry instructions carefully! Enter as many photographs as you like. Photographs may be submitted electronically, by mail or hand-delivered. Entry DeadlinePhotographs submitted before May 31st, 2008 will be considered for the 2008-2009 calendar. Those submitted after this date will be eligible for the 2009-2010 calendar. All previously entered photographs are in the pool for all future calendars. JudgingThe Office of the University Architect will select twelve photographs for the 2008 - 2009 Calendar which will be distributed in the Technician and the Bulletin next September. The photographers will be given credit for their work in the calendar. NotificationPhotographers will be notified if their photographs are selected for the calendar. Photographer's names and the number of photographs they have submitted will be listed on this web page as they are received.
