Nessa Stone, Operations Manager Nessa oversees all operational aspects for WRR, including major equipment purchases, supervision of the Recycling and Solid Waste crews, and development of new programs. Nessa sets up and maintains all campus collection routes which consist of about 300 trash, cardboard and autoclave dumpsters, and more than 4,200 indoor and outdoor recycling bins for office paper, mixed paper, and beverage containers. Nessa establishes new systems to support campus sustainability and recycling efforts, and to deal with increased volumes collected. Analis Fulghum, Education and Outreach Coordinator
Analis works with students, staff, faculty, and campus residents to develop and carry-out recyling programs. She helps coordinates the WE Recycle program and other activities designed to promote a culture of recycling and waste minimization on campus. Analis is available to present on recycling related topics for campus groups and offices. Additionally, Analis works closely with student organizations, Campus Housing, University Dinning,and other with recycling initiatives and programs on campus. Gerald Sanders, Heavy Equipment Supervisor Gerald supervises the heavy equipment and composting crews. He oversees operators of large equipment necessary for campus projects and heads up the winter snow removal crew. Aubrey Southwell, Office Manager/Customer Service Aubrey is the voice of WRR that handles all recycling and waste inquiries through e-mails and by phone. She manages organization and daily operations of the office. She also tracks and updates WRR's databases and weights for reporting. Megan Cain, WRR Intern
Major: Environmental Technology Duties: Assists with Earth Day planning and is music events coordinator for S.E.E. Creates Website content, and tables at events. Also serves as an intern for NC DENR and Live Nation. |
