State Courier Service - provides mail pick-up and delivery between most North Carolina counties, city and county governments, technical institutions, community colleges, the University of North Carolina system and agencies in North Carolina Government. There is NO CHARGE for the state courier mail with six digit courier numbers that start with the number five(5). Example: 50-xx-xx thru 59-xx-xx. State courier mail with courier numbers starting with the number five(5) should be combined with interdepartmental (campus) mail. All other state courier mail must have a completed postage charge form placed on top, secured with rubber bands, and separated from outgoing campus and metered mail.
