Gardeners can look forward to spending a half-hour indoors this fall. “In the Garden with Bryce Lane,” returned Sept. 11 for its eighth season on WUNC-TV.
Viewers can follow Lane, a horticultural science instructor, across the Carolinas this season, from Bahama, N.C., to South Carolina’s lowcountry.
Lane explains the science behind gardening, using field trips to the nationally acclaimed J.C. Raulston Arboretum, various garden centers and his own garden. He also shows how to identify sick or diseased plants and explains what to do to bring them back to life.
The show airs at noon on Saturdays and repeats at 11:30 a.m. Sundays.
