Welcome to the North Carolina State University
Teaching Awards for 2009-2010
NC State students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to recommend one or more current or former professors for recognition as a recipient of the Board of Governors' Award for Excellence in Teaching, as a member of NC State's Academy of Outstanding Teachers, or as an Alumni Distinguished Undergraduate Professor. This is done by submitting names to the colleges, or by using the online form for the nomination of teachers. The office of the provost will collect these online submissions and forward to the appropriate colleges. Deadline for online submissions is October 2, 2009.
The Provost's Memo For Teaching Awards 2009-2010 includes due dates for submissions for Alumni Distinguished Undergraduate Professor, Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching, and Outstanding Teacher Award. You will also find due dates on each award's overview page.

The Office of Faculty Development co-sponsors the Gertrude Cox Award. First awarded in 2001, The Gertrude Cox Award seeks nominations of NCSU faculty members who have made creative contributions to teaching, learning, and technology at NC State during the previous academic year.
