Resources for Retired Faculty
For NC State faculty members, retirement does not have to mean bidding farewell to the campus community. On the contrary, retirees can stay connected to the university through a variety of resources and programs. An earned rank with commensurate rights and privileges, Emeritus Status is granted to retiring full-time faculty in recognition of dedicated service upon approval of the Chancellor. Not ready to fully retire yet? The Phased Retirement Program might be the answer for you. Within the program, you can continue to participate in academic life and mentor students while you prepare for your future.
