Resolution on Equitable Office Signage
Whereas: University faculty need appropriate professional working conditions, and
Whereas: Office space is an essential part of these conditions, and
Whereas: Office space is sometimes shared among faculty members, and
Whereas: Any faculty office must be clearly identified by a nameplate to serve its purposes, and
Whereas: It is a mark of professional respect to require uniform and accurate signage for all faculty, and be it
Resolved: No faculty member shall be denied professional office identification because of shared office space, and the University sign shop shall devise methods for producing such nameplates, equivalent to signage for faculty in individual offices.
