Don't mute the TV when the commercials come on tonight during the Wolfpack's game against South Carolina. You might miss NC State's new TV ad – one of the key components of a new awareness campaign that promotes NC State as a high-energy leader in producing graduates ready to make an impact in society and the workplace, innovative research targeted towards the most-pressing issues the world faces, and our outreach and economic development impact in North Carolina and beyond.

A New View of NC State

Weeks of preparation followed by a single day of actual filming all helped bring NC State's new 30-second television commercials to life. The new spots – entitled "Gateway" and "Speed Bump" – are a definite departure from more traditional university commercials, and were designed to portray NC State as a place where students hit the ground running and change the world.
