 Dr. Lodge McCammon and his colleagues at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation have come up with a solution called FIZZ, which will allow those educators to implement safe Web 2.0 environments in the classroom, giving them a private YouTube-like site for each school.

FIZZ: Web 2.0 Comes to the Classroom

As school-age children across North Carolina look to Facebook, YouTube and video games as a fun way to fill spare time, it's no surprise that many teachers long for a chance to utilize that same technology in their classrooms. Dr. Lodge McCammon and his colleagues at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation have come up with FIZZ, a solution allowing educators to implement safe Web 2.0 environments and create private, YouTube-like sites for their classes.
