Centennial Campus Named Top Research Park

North Carolina State University's Centennial Campus, home to more than 130 companies, government agencies, and NC State research and academic units advancing technologies ranging from semiconductors to genomics tools, has been named the top Research Science Park of the Year by The Association of University Research Parks (AURP).

Employees at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation at North Carolina State University wrote and produced a music video that grabbed top honors in a contest sponsored by virtualization product developer VMware. The grand prize included a cash award of $15,000, which the employees donated to the Friday Institute to underwrite projects supporting teachers throughout North Carolina. Also, a guide to the lyrics!
