When industrial design graduate student Kathryn Asad won first place in a student traffic safety contest at the New York International Auto Show, judges asked her not to mention the name of her school. It turns out they were embarrassed that students from one university - NC State - swept nearly every award in the competition.

It is not practical for everyday use.
After a week of late-night chats, watching hilarious movies together, and introducing him to basically everyone I know, Donovan and I decided it just wasn't going to work out. It's all going to be fine. Friends come and go, and it's rare that someone sticks around for a really long time. I get that.

A dozen NC State student designers, along with more than 2,500 spectators, celebrated the fusion of fashion and art at Wednesday's Art to Wear fashion show at Reynolds Coliseum. From the use of traditional medium and fabrics to local eateries' fast-food containers, student designs and materials ran the gamut.
He's really nice though! If you want a nice, friendly, attractive guy, he's totally it. However, you should know that he will never hold down a "real" job. I'm just trying to let you know what you're getting in to. You see, multi-tasking is just not his thing. For some folks, that's okay. "No big deal!" they say For me, it's just not going to cut it.
In helping students cope with tight economic times, NC State leaders have formed a dual-degree program with Campbell Law School that will allow students to earn their Master of Public Administration and Juris Doctor degrees in just four years - saving them serious tuition dollars while getting them into the workplace a year sooner than their future colleagues.
