Chillin’ and Grillin’ Photo Gallery

Students gathered on Tucker/Owen beach after their first day of classes to enjoy food and games sponsored by the Inter-Residence Council, the InterFraternity Council and the Panhellenic Sororities.

A large crowd gathered to enjoy the food and fellowship at the Chillin' and Grillin' event. Inter-Fraternity Council and Inter-Residence Council members pass out drinks to students patiently waiting in line for a burger. Late afternoon light makes for long shadows of students waiting in line for burgers. Tucker Beach Students gathered to watch and photograph a hot-wing eating contest. Students play an impromptu game of rugby during the Chillin' and Grillin' event. Several grills were fired up at once to feed the hungry crowd of students attending Chillin' and Grillin'. Students enjoy the food and the weather at the Chillin' and Grillin' event on Tucker/Owen Beach. Students wait for the next tray of burgers to come off the grill. A burger gets all the fixin's. Grilled burgers get a thumbs up from students attending the event on Wednesday afternoon. Students play a game of corn hole on Tucker/Owen beach. Inter Fraternity Council members flip burgers during the Chillin' and Grillin' event. As soon as one batch of burgers comes off the grill, another batch goes on. Students prepare their plates. Inter-Residence Council officers, the InterFraternity Council and the Panehellenic Sororities worked together to feed the crowd of students Wednesday afternoon. Students enjoy the food and the weather at the Chillin' and Grillin' event on Tucker/Owen Beach. A ready-to-eat double decker.
