An Affair to Remember

What adventure this week has been. I have attempted to explore every possible feature this machine has to offer and I have seen things good and bad, but, in the end, one side has to win. Although there are many aspects of this machine that I enjoyed greatly, I am spoken for. My true love lies with my Mac Book Pro and iPhone. The iPad, although cool, is simply a gadget. It is not practical for everyday use.

Will this be for here or to go?

Following the trend of my fellow bloggers, I am going to add my two-cents about the portability of the iPad. I must agree that the iPad does seem a bit "slippery," but overall, I think the iPad, which was designed for portable use, is quite portable.

Compare and Contrast

While a friend was going to class, I asked if I could test out their netbook, just to see what it was all about. He willingly gave it to me and said, "You'll love it!" So, here I am, typing this blog on this netbook, just to try it out – all while my iPad is sitting right next to me, taunting me.

You only get one chance at a first impression…

...And the iPad had me hooked from the start! My first impression is a positive one, but over the next week, I'll certainly look to delve deeper – to explore the point of the iPad, how it can be beneficial and the purpose it serves, or can serve.

Getting Excited and First Thoughts

As a very proud owner of a MacBook Pro and a self-proclaimed iPhone addict, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to test out the new iPad. Throughout the next week, I am eager to explore every inch of this product. Apple has set the bar high with previous products, and I expect nothing less this time around.
