All Hail the King

All Hail the King

On Jan. 21, eleven of the College of Engineering's most talented students sang, danced and unicycled their way across the Stewart Theatre stage in a quest to become 'Mr. Engineer,' all while raising money for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

Let’s Get Talking

Let’s Get Talking

A few months ago, the Oprah Winfrey network (OWN) and reality-TV producer Mark Burnett launched a national video campaign asking everyday people to share what they'd do with their own talk show. Kelly Hook's election as student body president has been the driving force behind a positive shift in Student Government's ability to connect with the larger student body, as well as an improved relationship with campus administrators. An Affair to Remember

I’ve got this friend… who basically drives me crazy

I'm just trying to let you know what you're getting in to. You see, multi-tasking is just not his thing. For some folks, that's okay. "No big deal!" they say  For me, it's just not going to cut it.

iPad Verdict

iPad Verdict

My time with the iPad is drawing to a close. It's been a good run, but we weren't meant for each other. It's time for us to see other people/devices. Also, I'm pretty sure that the library staff wants their iPad back so that other people can check it out. Therefore, these are my closing thoughts on the device.
