More than 3,400 new graduates received their degrees Saturday during fall commencement activities. The new alumni heard from keynote speaker Dr. Rajendra Pachauri, a Nobel Prize-winning climate scientist and NC State alumnus.
The RBC Center became a sea of red Saturday morning as more than 4,500 students became the next wave of NC State alumni.
Each semester, one NC State student is selected to speak on behalf of the entire graduating class. Before the 2010 spring commencement ceremony, we sat down with biological sciences and international studies double major Lianne Gonsalves, who reflected on everything from the Krispy Kreme Challenge to anthropological research in Guatemala.

Senior Emma Norton, who addressed her fellow graduates at commencement, spoke to us about what the time she's spent at NC State has meant to her as she prepares to take the next step in life.

Hunt ('59) to find out just what NC State means to him, and how being a part of the Wolfpack family has made a difference in his life for the last half century.
