Everyone can use some extra money to help pay for college. Here are some resources to assist you:

Summer Scholars Program
This program is open to all undergraduate students of all disciplpline applications: More information can be found here. Deadline for submitting application:

Food Science Club Scholarship
This scholarship is available to active FSC members

Dairy Bar Scholarship
This scholarship is available to FSC members who served at the 2011 Dairy Bar at the NC State Fair

Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Scholarships
Deadlines for submitting applications to department heads:
Graduate and Junior/Senior: February 15
Freshman: March 15
Sophomore: March 1

Dogwood IFT Student Scholarship
This is for undergraduate students who are student members of IFT. Two $500 and 1 $750 scholarship are awarded each year. Those that have won in the past are not eligible. Applications are due by.

College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) Scholarships
Online applications are available for entering freshman, continuing students, and transfer students. You can apply any time, but you should submit your application by May 1 to be considered for the following school year. Most scholarship recipients are determined in June and July.

University Scholarships
Most university scholarships are for entering freshman, but this page has some great links to scholarships offered by private donors as well as fellowships. Application deadlines vary.
