Times and locations listed are approximate and will vary for each session. A detailed Parents' Orientation schedule specific to your student's degree program will be available at check-in.

Students and parents will be in these sessions together.  Otherwise, students will follow a different schedule designed to help them adjust to campus life and get to know many faculty, staff, and other students.

DAY ONE
8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.	Check-In Reception & Resource Fair	Talley Student Center
9:15 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.	Welcome To NC State	Talley Student Center
9:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.	Preparing To Be A College Student	Talley Student Center
10:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.	Students will depart with Orientation Counselors	Talley Student Center
11:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.	Parents & Families Services	Talley Student Center
11:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.	Dining	Talley Student Center
Noon – 1:30 p.m.	Lunch, Break-Out Sessions, Information Fair	Fountain Dining Hall, Talley Student Center
2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.	Academic Information	Varies by college
3:45 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.	Housing, Student Conduct, & Money Matters	Varies
5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.	Dinner	Fountain Dining Hall
Additional evening activities may be offered.
