Registration

Registration Fee = $90 per family

Your fee employs 4 professional staff and 14 currently enrolled NC State students dedicated to providing programs and services for the families of NC State University undergraduate students. Additionally, your fee provides the following.

At Parents’ Orientation, you will receive:

• the Parents' Handbook
• NC State wall calendar with important dates
• parents’ events and activities guide
• NC State tote bag and other orientation supplies
• a campus tour and opportunities for nine informative presentations
• opportunities to meet many faculty and staff
• PLUS one household membership to the Parents & Families Association good for the entire time your student is enrolled.

During EACH academic year your student is enrolled, you receive:

• access to the Parents’ HelpLine
• two issues of the PACKParents newsletter
• four electronic newsletters with timely announcements
• emergency email alerts in the event of a campus crisis
• invitations to events, such as Parents & Families Weekend, Spring Fling, and Siblings Weekend
• discounts at over 40 hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, and other services

Note: The Parents' Orientation fee does not include meals or housing. Meals in the dining hall may be purchased at the door with cash or debit card.

- We strongly encourage you to register in advance. However, if you are not sure that you are able to join us at this point, we welcome you to register for the program upon your arrival at Orientation.

- Membership to the Parents & Families Association is designed to serve one household. If there are other family members residing in different locations who would like to receive the benefits of the Parents & Families Association and a set of orientation materials, they may join the Parents & Families Association directly via the Parents' Orientation registration card, on line, or upon their arrival at check in.

Refund Policy: Registration fees are nonrefundable. $25 will be charged in addition to the registration fee ($90) for returned checks.
