Traces
Fiber art is deeply rooted in the history of North Carolina. Traces presents a
contemporary approach to the craft showcasing a synthesis of creative and tangible raw
materials, as well as a convergence of revolutionary technology, materials advances and
subject matter. Curator Barbara Lee  Smith has selected the work of twelve artists from
across the United States, Canada and the Netherlands.
