Extreme Parent Volunteer: Bill Allen
This past December, approximately 250 NC State students and staff demonstrated their love for the community by volunteering their time and energy with
ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The show came to Raleigh to surprise the Riggins family, who dedicate countless hours at Building Together Ministries, a local non-profit that serves disadvantaged
families. NC State volunteers covered shifts from midnight to 6:00 a.m. moving furniture, cleaning, painting, and serving in any capacity they were needed. This amazing opportunity would never have surfaced without the valuable partnerships between NC State and our students’ families. [More]
