Parents and students made a lasting mark on the campus’s popular Triad area this past fall. During Parents and Families Weekend, held Oct. 27-28, nearly 60 parents and students planted new trees, shrubs and perennials through the Student-Family Service Project. The Triad is among the oldest sections of NC State’s main campus and a popular area for students living in the residence halls.

The Parents and Families Association extends special thanks to these volunteers as well as to the Center for Student Leadership, Ethics and Public Service; Grounds Management; and University Housing for helping to organize this event.
