When parents are informed, students benefit.
The Office of Parents & Families Services provides the following publications to keep student’s families informed and connected to University life.
All parents of undergraduate students receive the fall copy of PACKParents, the official newsletter of the North Carolina State Parents & Families Association. Parents & Families Association members receive an additional issue in the spring. Each issue is full of valuable information, including:
- directions to additional resources for parents
- calendars and important dates
- Parents’ Fund information
- special-interest articles
- events families are invited to attend
North Carolina State Parents & Families Association members receive a regular email newsletter that highlights important dates and deadlines, information about upcoming events, suggestions for timely conversations to have with your student, as well as other important University news.
Distributed at Parents’ Orientation or upon joining the Parents & Families Association, the Parents’ Handbook is designed to be a resource guide to resources for families, important student issues, and a directory of programs and services for students.
Designed to facilitate meaningful conversations about timely student issues, the Conversation calendar outlines suggested conversations parents may want to have with their student.
