The surface of the "Free Expression" tunnel may be painted within the confines of the ceiling of the tunnel. The statements, "No Painting Beyond this Point" and "Keep Campus Beautiful" have been placed in the area to designate limited areas. No Painting will be allowed on the other two tunnels. Any organization or individual(s) violating this policy will be in violation of student and state law and will be prosecuted. Students may report to the Student Government Office any violation they see in this policy. At the beginning of each fall semester a copy of this policy outlining the restrictions and responsibilities of the registered campus organizations will be distributed by Student Development. There is no restriction regarding painting over the sections of the tunnel that other people or organizations have painted--no matter how recently they have been painted. In the past, however, animosity has been generated toward groups who paint over sections that are advertising events not yet held or sections painted very recently. Please use some courtesy and common sense when selecting an area of the tunnel to paint.
