Admissions

Ask any admissions counselor at NC State what separates our university from others and most likely, you'll hear a familiar reply: we are a community. A community not only of scholarsboth faculty and studentsbut a community of people deeply committed to innovative, collaborative, hands-on learning that impacts the lives of others in measurable, positive ways. It's this approach and commitment to education that gives our students the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in today's close-knit world.

At NC State, we don't expect you to have figured out how to balance the country's budget or found alternative uses for C02 emissions. What we are looking for are demonstrably intelligent students with a passion for making the world and those who inhabit it a better place. We are glad you are interested in attending NC State and hope you will join us.
