Personal Information:
I was born and raised in the Sandhills of North Carolina. I attended Appalachian State University as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. There I became fascinated with the inner workings of a university. After graduation, I taught Social Studies at E.T. Beddingfield High School in Wilson, N.C. Before coming to NC State, I was part of the "Pirate Nation" as a student, graduate assistant and intern at East Carolina University. I am glad my journey led me to Raleigh and NC State, where I could be a part of the Wolfpack Family!
The thing I most enjoy about my job is the opportunity to help others change their lives.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and puppy, attending concerts and sporting events, and trying new things.
