Personal Information:
I am originally from Washington, D.C., but have also lived in Maryland,
Connecticut, Virginia, and finally North Carolina. I absolutely love living
in Raleigh.
I played football at Southern Connecticut State University and served as a
team captain. After earning my B.S. degree in Communication from SCSU, I
earned my M.S. degree in Education from Longwood University.
Before landing in the First Year College, I was an academic advisor for
student-athletes at Longwood University and also here at NCSU. Major
exploration and career development have always been strong interests of
mine; thus, I thoroughly enjoy working with both first-year and undecided
students. I enjoy helping people, and academic advising has been the
perfect niche for me within the realm of helping professions.
In my downtime, I enjoy exercising, traveling, and collecting watches. I
love football, and I am a diehard fan of the Washington Redskins. For
college football, I support the Terps and the Pack.
