Personal Information:
I was born in Virginia, but have lived in Kentucky, Indiana, South Carolina and finally, North Carolina. My family moved to Cary in January 2004, which was the best decision we ever made.
I finished my undergraduate degree here at NC State in 3 years where I received a degree in Business Administration concentrating in Marketing and a Spanish Minor. I am entering my second year of graduate school here at NC State and am expecting to graduate in May 2012 with an M.Ed in Higher Education Administration.
In my first year of graduate school, I worked in the Poole College of Management at NC State serving as an Assistant Advisor. In summer 2011, I worked with the Parent and Family Services office at NC State focusing on Parent's Orientation. I am looking forward to working in the First Year College this year! I have a passion for college students and know that I am in the right field.
As far as my interests when I am not on NC State's campus, I enjoy volunteering at my church and leading a small group Bible Study. I run every morning before work and also love going to the lake to wakeboard and tube! I love going to NC State football games and spending time with my friends and family on the weekends.
