Personal Information:
Originally from West Chester, Pennsylvania (just outside of Philadelphia), I have lived up and down the East Coast over the last 8 years (Boston, Richmond, Delaware, Albany) for school and work, but have not lost my commitment to the Philadelphia sports teams. While a student at the University of Richmond, I gained valuable lessons from my involvement in organizations and clubs. I was also fortunate enough to have supportive professionals who encouraged me to help other students realize their goals and direction in life. Taking this energy, I went to the University of Delaware, where I gained experiences in Career Services and the Activities & Programs Office, both of which greatly influenced my work with students. Seeking a new experience, I continued travelling north to Union College in Schenectady, New York, where I worked as a Residence Director for the past two years. After battling the cold winters, my fiancé and I decided we wanted a warmer climate, which found in Chapel Hill. I am excited to support the First Year College students as they navigate both their academic and personal journeys at NC State!
Outside of FYC, I enjoy cooking, reading, learning useless trivia, spending time at the beach, celebrating Philadelphia sports wins, and watching my favorite TV shows (“The Office”, “How I Met Your Mother”, and “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives”).
