Personal Information:
North Carolina native, but grew up outside of Richmond, VA. Prior to arriving at NC State, I have worked for the following schools: UT-Knoxville as a Hall Director/First Year Studies Instructor; Webster College- English, Communications Instructor and Admissions Representative; Volunteer Action Center as a Volunteer Coordinator and as an AmeriCorps participant; University of South Dakota- Asst. Director/Complex Director for Residence Life; University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill- Area Director for the Dept. of Housing; Coordinator of the First Year Initiative Living/Learning Program and an Academic Advisor. Married to husband, Tom, have one daughter, Holly, and one son, Carson. During my free time, outside of spending time with friends and family, I enjoy listening to music, reading, craftwork, and baking and positively impacting.
Working with first year students is my passion. They are the most enthusiastic about college and most open to new experiences. They are willing to grow, learn and explore.
