Personal Information:
I am a native of Raleigh, North Carolina. I have academically advised students in higher education for the past 14 years. Before coming to NC State I worked at Meredith College for 11 years with first year, transfer and adult students. I enjoy working in higher education because when I went to college it completely changed my life. I took advantage of the resources on campus and got involved in student government and Residence Life as a Resident Assistant (RA). I am excited to work with First Year College students as NC State. The first year of college can be overwhelming but at the same time can be transformative.
I live in Apex North Carolina aka” The Peak of Good Living” with my husband and three sons. In my free time I like to read books and ride my bike.
