Welcome to the First Year College Student Council Website!

The First Year College Student Council is the representative body for all FYC students. It works towards developing events that create unity for the College, as well as promoting FYC across campus. The Council participates in many events during the year, including academic programs, social activities, and community service projects. At the beginning of each semester the council meets to create the goals for the group and plans are made for the upcoming semester’s social, academic, and service events.

The Student Council has several committees that help plan and implement the ideas and projects that the Council comes up with. These committees are: Liaison, Public Relations, Events, Social, and Service. Each Student Council member has the opportunity to participate in these committees.

FYC Students and FYC Village Residents – Come celebrate the end of a great academic year on the newly renovated Tucker Beach and Tucker Pavilion on Wednesday, April 16th starting at 5:00 PM. Enjoy good food, good music, games, and more! No RSVP necessary but food will run out some come early!
