Bio:

I grew up in Greenville, North Carolina and attended the public schools. I'm from a large family and was the first of my siblings to attend college. Prior to joining the staff of the First Year College , I was Prehealth Professions Coordinator for East Carolina University. My only child, Nelson Christopher is a  rising junior  at Raleigh Charter High School. My husband , Roosevelt Morton, is an accountant with the State of North Carolina. For fun and relaxation, I enjoy reading, aerobics, gardening, time with family and friends and shopping.

What I like best about working with first year students is being able to share in the discoveries of early adulthood over and over again.
