The First Year College (FYC) at North Carolina State University began serving first year students during the 1995-96 academic year. The FYC encourages first year students to become involved, committed, and successful members of the university. The college is particularly suited to students who prefer a year of general study accompanied with major and career guidance, after which they will be able to easily make careful yet confident decisions determining their college future. FYC also seeks to fully immerse first year students in the many academic, social, and cultural opportunities available here at NCSU. To learn more about FYC's mission and goals please visit our FYC Info. section.

Please come to our upcoming visition days. For more information and to register please click here.
