First Year College Visitation Program
The First Year College offers several opportunities during the year for prospective students to come learn about our program. Once you choose a date from our list, you must register in order to attend. Due to the large number of people interested in learning about the First Year College, we need to see visitors in these group visitation sessions.
First Year College Visitation Days are designed to give students an overall picture of our program including: advising, our courses, the First Year College Village, and other relevant information. We will also give you the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation. A few advisers and students will be available to answer brief individual questions immediately following the general Q&A session. These visits are designed to give general information about our program and are not required for any student.
Our visits are designed so that you may also participate in the general campus tour and information session while here at NC State. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity in addition to visiting with us. These are coordinated through the Undergraduate Admissions Office.
Your visit will take place in the new First Year College Commons Building, which is across the street from the two residence halls, Tucker and Owen, that comprise the First Year College Village. We have a classroom on the ground floor of that building where your visit will take place. You will receive more information about directions and parking through a confirmation page after you register.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email us. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you soon!
