Ms. Goldgeier joined the Office of General Counsel on March 15, 2010.  Prior to her employment with NC State, Ms. Goldgeier was the General Counsel at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington, North Carolina from 2003-2010, Associate General Counsel at North Carolina State University from 1997-2003, Visiting Associate Professor at North Carolina State University from 1997-2000, Assistant General Counsel at The John Hopkins University from 1995-1997, Senior Staff Attorney at The John Hopkins University from 1992-1995, and an Associate Attorney at Venable, Baetjer, and Howard from 1988-1991.  Ms. Goldgeier received a B.A. degree in Environmental Studies from Brown University in 1985, and a J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law in 1988. Ms. Goldgeier has been licensed to practice law in North Carolina since 1997, and is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
