Eileen joined the Office of General Counsel on March 15, 2010.  Prior to her employment with NC State, Eileen was the General Counsel at UNC Wilmington from 2003-2010, Associate General Counsel at NC State from 1997-2003, Visiting Associate Professor at NC State from 1997-2000, Assistant General Counsel at Johns Hopkins University from 1995-1997, Senior Staff Attorney at Johns Hopkins University from 1992-1995, and an Associate Attorney at Venable, Baetjer, and Howard from 1988-1991.  Eileen received a B.A. degree in Environmental Studies from Brown University and a J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law. Eileen has been licensed to practice law in North Carolina since 1997, and is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
