Animal Farm

Activity #1: (WRITING) Create a newspaper that reports the key events
of the novel. Include stories, editorials, classifieds, and comics (satires).
Pictures should have captions, and stories and articles should have headlines.
Activity #2: (RESEARCHING) George Orwell wrote this novel in response
to the events of the Russian Revolution. The characters and events in the
novel are considered symbolic of the political turmoil of the Russian Revolution.
Research this period in Russian history to determine which animals represent
the key players in the Revolution (Czar Nicholas II, Karl Marx, Leon Trotsky,
Joseph Stalin, White Russians, Bolsheviks, and Proletariats).
Activity #3: (ART) Construct a 3-dimensional replica of Animal Farm.
Include all the buildings and animals.
