Duane K. Larick

1. Management of the Graduate Student Support Plan which provides tuition and health insurance for the 2,500+ funded graduate students at NC State University.
2. Enrollment planning for graduate programs at the institution level.
3. Chairing the Administrative Board of the Graduate School.
4. Development and approval of new graduate certificate programs and degree programs (both on-campus and distance education) including program proposal development and routing proposals for internal and University of North Carolina-General Administration approval.
5. Serving as institutional coordinator for the NRC assessment of doctoral programs.
6. Assisting faculty in training grant proposal (GAANN, IGERT, etc.) development and management.
7. Directing the NIH/NIGMS funded BRIDGE program which aims to increase the number of researchers in underrepresented populations in the biomedical and life sciences.
8. Representing the Graduate School on the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS Regional Accreditation) review committees for Institutional Effectiveness (Assessment) and development of our Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) entitled Learning in a Technology Rich Environment (LITRE).
