Environmental Protection Agency STAR Fellowships

PURPOSE: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as part of its Science to Achieve Results (STAR) program, is offering Graduate Education Fellowships for master's and doctoral students in environmentally-related fields of study.

- Other disciplines relating to environmental management
ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are pursuing a master's or doctoral degree. Students do not need to be enrolled in or formally accepted to a full-time graduate program at the time they apply for a fellowship, but proof of enrollment or acceptance must be produced prior to the award of the fellowship. Students who have completed more than one year in a master's program or four years in a doctoral program are not eligible. Students enrolled in a master's program, however, may apply for a doctoral fellowship.
ANNUAL STIPEND:
- $25,000
- $12,000 for tuition and fees
- $5,000 allowance for research related expenses
