5.3 Policy of Non-Discrimination

NC State is dedicated to a policy of equal opportunity within the university community. Accordingly, NC State does not practice or condone discrimination, in any form, against students, employees, or applicants on the grounds of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, or disability.

NC State supports all applicable Federal laws against discrimination, including Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Sections 799A and 845 of the Public Health Service Act, the Equal Pay and Age Discrimination Acts, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991, the Vietnam Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, and Executive Order 11246.
