GSSP: Important Dates and Deadlines
Fall 2012
July 9, 2012 - Fall 2012 Initial Tuition Billing - Due Date: 7/27/12
The Notice of Sponsorship form is no longer being used effective Spring 2012. Please contact your Graduate Services Coordinator to ensure your Dept Approval Flag has been checked.
July 25, 2012 - Fall 2012 Dept Approval Flag Deadline
Deadline for departments to have students Dept Approval flag set in Student Information Systems.
August 29, 2012 - Fall 2012 Census Date
Must meet minimum registration requirement (9 or 3) by 5:00 pm on this date.
Must have a qualifying appointment with an effective date of census day or earlier to be eligible for tuition.
August 29, 2012 - Fall 2012 Exception Deadline
Deadline for receipt of exception requests in the Graduate School for the Graduate Student Support Plan (GSSP) for Fall 2012 Semester.
September 14, 2012 - Fall 2012 Insurance Deadline
All Graduate Assistantships must be approved in the system in order for students to enrolled on the GSSP insurance plan through BCBS. For Assistantships entered after this date, students will stay on the University Mandatory Insurance Plan through Pearce & Pearce.
Spring 2012

Fall 2011
July 7, 2011 - Fall 2011 Initial Tuition Billing - Due Date: 7/29/11
Students must either already have been submitted as eligible for tuition under GSSP or have completed the Notice of Sponsorship Form on the web indicating that the Graduate Student Support Plan is their sponsor by the due date. For "amount" enter the on-campus tuition rate for the total hours registered (http://www.fis.ncsu.edu/cashier/tuition/gradtuition.asp) and indicate that their sponsor (GSSP) will pay for tuition only. Note that if the student has 2 sponsors, they will need to complete 2 sponsorship forms. If the Notice of Sponsorship Form is not completed by the due date, students risk having their schedule canceled.
