Below are the descriptions of the proposed task teams for the graduate network. Please review them and sign up to the ones you are interested in at the bottom.
Representative Board Committee
Description
Comprised of community members who’s values and ideas embody a leadership role. They will develop roles and responsibilities amongst the graduate network.
Examples of Involvement
Develop goals, mission, and vision for the network.
Communication Infrastructure
Description
Establishing a system that supports communication between stakeholders and external entities.
Examples of Involvement
Branding, website, publications, etc.
Development
Description
Strategic group that develops, supports and grows a revenue stream to sustain the network over time.
Examples of Involvement\
General fundraising, grant writing, establishing partnerships and sponsorships
Outreach
Description
Extending the reach of the network both nationally and internationally by increasing membership and buy-in from other communities.
Examples of Involvement
Develop connections with design programs, increase awareness of network along with new members, incorporate additional design disciplines, etc.
Event Committee
Description
Develop and create new events in person to establish a physical presence of the network.
Examples of Involvement
Plan future events, network with institutions for venue space/involvement, maintain physical presence of the network, etc.
