Construction Continues on Kappa Delta House
Greek Village Menu
Construction continues on the new Kappa Delta house, the first privately-funded chapter house in the Greek Village project. The house is under roof and exterior brick work is well under way. The building has been connected to the water and sewer systems in the street. Interior electrical and plumbing rough-in work is almost complete and the contractor will begin installing sheetrock on the interior walls shortly.
In addition, telecom wiring is being installed that will connect the house to the University's ResNet computing network. This will mean that the residents as well as all members of Kappa Delta will be able to connect to the University network next year just like any other on-campus residence at the University.
The contractor, design team, Kappa Delta House Corporation, and University staff continue meeting regularly to coordinate schedules and keep the project moving forward.
