National Wolfpack Service Day
Each year, the NC State Alumni Association sponsors the National Wolfpack Service Day across the country to provide unique opportunities for Wolfpackers to join together in service right in their local communities. NWSD is Saturday, October 13th and the Wake County alumni group has several service projects lined up that need volunteers. Service opportunities include working on two different Habitat for Humanity projects, cleaning up a portion of Crabtree Creek, planting trees with Trees Across Raleigh, and assisting with NC State's University Open House. You don't need to be an alumni to join in this day of service. Fraternity and sorority members are encouraged to join in this day and connect with local Wake County alumni to show our commitment to the local community.
Students interested in volunteering may sign up online, which includes a comprehensive list of volunteer options and information about how you will be volunteering that day. Chapters may submit service hours performed by their members for the Standards Program.
