Live Off-Campus? Know the Laws!
Many of our students live off-campus within the City of Raleigh in rental properties and need to know the City ordinances. When making plans to host a party at your house or apartment, please be aware of Raleigh's Nuisance Party Ordinance. You should always respect your neighbors when hosting or attending a party, but also remind your friends and guests that the penalty for abusing the city's noise ordinance can mean a fine that could leave a big dent in your bank account.
